Chalkydigits is committed to using organic cotton and organic cotton-lycra in our ranges as much as we can, and ours is knitted and dyed right here in New Zealand. Cotton is the most pesticide-intensive crop on the planet and these toxins are responsible for poisoning our planet and it’s people.  By choosing organic cotton we are contributing to the preservation of our planet and the health and wellbeing of the cotton workers – and the precious honeybees. Made from flax plants, linen has very long and strong fibres making it super durable for you adventurous types. Flax fibres are especially smooth so get softer the more you wash and wear them. Linen is also highly absorbent and a great conductor of heat so is perfect for keeping you exceptionally cool and fresh in the smouldering summer heat. We have some stunning linen wear for you this summer in nice brights and fresh neutrals. Don’t forget about these swish new chalkydigits linen cushions, also! This season chalkydigits is excited to include innovative merino cotton in our range. A new super soft fabric, merino cotton blends our two favourite fibres to capture the distinct performance properties of both. It’s able to keep you dry in the daytime heat yet warm in the coolness of our summer evenings plus it looks pretty darn stylish! Check out our yoga-inspired pieces and you’ll see what we mean!
