Terms of Trade

1. Warranty / Faults / Returns
We stand by our product so if there are problems we’ll do our best to sort it out for you.
If you purchased the chalkydigits product from one of our friendly stockists, then your first action should be to contact them and they will resolve the issue on our behalf.
If you purchased the product directly from us, then please email us describing the problem and attach a low-resolution picture if you can. Depending on availability, we will either repair, replace or credit faulty product, if we deem it be a fault of our manufacturing, storage or delivery. We will endeavour to let you know the intended outcome and how long it will take to resolve within 2 days of us receiving either the photo or the product. Any worn garments must be returned to us in a clean condition. We will reimburse any freight charges if the fault is ours.
If the product you have purchased from us is the wrong size or colour, we will either exchange it or refund you the purchase price. Send us an email or give us a call before you return it. It must be returned in it’s original packaging and with tags attached. In this instance, the cost of the freight charge must be borne by the purchaser.
Please be aware we cannot accept responsibility for product damaged by wear and tear, inappropriate use of the product or failure to follow care instructions.

2. Freight
Orders over $99 are shipped inclusive of freight within New Zealand and Australia. We will despatch the garments on the following working day. Within NZ it is usually overnight delivery except rural where you can expect 48 hour delivery time. Shipments overseas are sent by airmail and will take 3 to 10 days, but this will depend on the country of destination. Freight for shipments overseas is included in the price for orders over $200.

3. GST, VAT and Duties
All New Zealand prices are inclusive of GST. Shipments overseas do not include local taxes or duties and you may have to pay these. In Australia goods imported over the internet are free of duties if they have a value under $1000.

4. Currency
All our prices are in New Zealand dollars. If you are buying from overseas this will be converted into your local currency at the bank rates ruling on the day.
